The group was created in September 2017. Daniel BARDA, already creator and leader of «Paris Washboard» (1988) and of «Super Swing Project» (2014), wanted to merge these two groups into one, in order to bring together in the same ensemble the exceptional musicians who played in one or the other. There were already two musicians common to the two formations:

- Louis MAZETIER, recently judged by an American specialist newspaper as the best "stride" pianist in the world. Everything revolves around his mind-blowing game generating an immense harmonic richness. A real "caviar" for improvisers!

- Daniel BARDA on trombone, long appointed as the best French specialist in the "New Orleans" style, and also conductor, arranger, flutist and classical pianist.

So came to join these two brilliant musicians:

- Alain MARQUET, clarinetist, of whom Claude LUTER once said: «He is the best of us! » speaking of the French clarinettists.

- Jérôme ETCHEBERRY, trumpet player “LE”, which is found in the very best Parisian big bands and other high-class bands.

- Charles PRÉVOST, who ensures a swirling tempo on his washboard (the washing board, the New Orleans ancestor of the drums), a musician gifted with exceptional listening and musicality.

In short, here is a jazz quintet composed of passionate musicians who lack neither talent nor humour and relaxation to spread their message of enthusiasm, health and happiness.
